AmaZulu aims to sustain their recent winning form when they face Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal derby at Moses Mabhida Stadium this Saturday afternoon in the Betway Premiership.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 15h30 CAT.
Having secured two victories in their last three encounters, AmaZulu enters the game on the back of a 1-0 triumph against Cape Town City.
Despite a 1-0 loss to league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, prior to that the team picked up a 2-1 victory over Royal AM in the local derby, demonstrating their resilience this season.
New signing Bongani Zungu is eagerly anticipating his debut for the club.
“Yeah, first I’m very happy to be here and I’m happy that God gave me an opportunity to showcase my talent more especially to the team. Obviously, that’s how football players should thank the president and coaches when you do play,” Zungu said.
“I’m very happy to be here and yeah, according to what I know, I am available for selection this weekend and I’m looking forward to it.”
Zungu previously played 30 matches for Mamelodi Sundowns last season, with his final competitive game being the season’s last league match in May.
