AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu has confirmed the departure of Lehlohonolo Majoro, Romain Folz and Ayanda Dlamini.

Majoro will officially leave Usuthu when his contract with the club expires at the end of this month having rejoined the KwaZulu-Natal giants in 2019.

The 36-year-old began his professional career at Usuthu in 2010 and he established himself as one of the top strikers in the country before moving to Kaizer Chiefs.

“He played more than 100 games recently and in his professional career, he scored an excess of 90 goals. It would have been his wish that he scored 100 goals in the colours of AmaZulu but it was not to be,” Zungu said.

“He may choose to continue his playing career, that’s his choice. We wish him all the best and so do we wish all the best to all other players whose relationships with AmaZulu will come to an end.”

Zungu also revealed that Folz and Dlamini have both parted ways with Usuthu having recently served as the club’s sporting director and interim coach respectively.

New members of the AmaZulu technical team, player acquisitions and departures will be announced in the coming weeks.
