New AmaZulu FC forward Dumisani Zuma believes he can help the KwaZulu-Natal giants achieve their targets.
The 27-year-old player recently joined Usuthu from Kaizer Chiefs on a free transfer as the Durban-based club prepares for the 2022-23 season.
The man nicknamed Msholozi is pleased to have returned to his home province.
“I will be joining AmaZulu for the 2022/23 season. I am very happy about the move,” Zuma said.
“Obviously I am from the KZN, I think I had a good stay in KZN playing for the team [Bloemfontein Celtic].”
Msholozi started his career at Bloemfontein Celtic in 2014 after being nurtured in the club’s academy before moving to Chiefs in 2017.
“And obviously, when you join the team, there are expectations of the team. After the meetings, we had with the chairman [Sandile Zungu] the plan and expectations are very clear,” he continued.
“Obviously he wants to do well in the league and I think I’ll help the team achieve this. Thank you very much and I am very happy that I’ll be joining AmaZulu.”
Zuma made 103 appearances for Chiefs – scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists for the Soweto giants in the process.
