AmaZulu FC head coach Pablo Franco Martin is determined to ensure that the team ends its mini-goal drought after drawing with Richards Bay.

Usuthu were held to a 0-0 draw by the Natal Rich Boys over the weekend and Franco Martin’s side has now gone three matches without scoring in the DStv Premiership this season.

It is back to the drawing board for the Spanish tactician and his technical team as they look to ensure that Usuthu score goals in their upcoming matches.

“This is something that never happened in my life as a coach,” Franco Martin said after the KwaZulu-Natal Derby clash.

“Probably not even two games in a row not converting at all. We need to look for solutions. We need to figure out why we can’t perform well in games like we do during the week at training.

“It’s not only a matter of players, us as the technical team we need to start changing things. Of course, we are happy that we are not conceding goals, but we can’t be happy about not converting chances.”

AmaZulu are set to travel to Johannesburg where they are scheduled to take on Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium in another league clash on Saturday. Kick-off is at 5:30 pm.
