AmaZulu assistant coach Aitor van den Brule has shared what the team’s preparations are for the Premiers Cup in Ulundi this weekend.
Four KZN PSL clubs including Usuthu are set to participate in the competition. The other teams are Golden Arrows, Royal AM and Richards Bay FC. Milford and Martizburg United are the two teams from the second-tier division who’ll also be competing.
AmaZulu who are currently the defending champions will face off against Golden Arrows on Saturday afternoon.
“We are ready. I think the team is improving a lot, they are pushing of course but you know, we are now waiting for some adjustments. Waiting to keep working in some details,” said van den Brule.
“The new players, we need to teach them about our style of play and it is not easy because we are a team that wants always to control the game.”
“For sure we are going to fight until the end for the to win again, the Premiers Cup.”
