AmaZulu FC’s preparations for the 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge are on track, with the team looking to win the youth tournament.
The KwaZulu-Natal leg of the national competition is scheduled to take place between 3 and 4 July at Kloof High School.
Usuthu have been playing friendly matches as they prepare for the eagerly anticipated Engen Knockout Challenge.
Coach Andile Cele’s side emerged as 4-2 winners over Imfundo Yethu in a friendly match played last weekend.
The last time AmaZulu won the Engen Knockout Challenge KwaZulu-Natal leg was in 2023 and they managed to reach the quarter-finals in 2024.
Usuthu will be looking to go all the way in this year’s competition and clinch the trophy under Cele.
The winners of the tournament will represent the KwaZulu-Natal province at the Engen Champs of Champs later this year.
