AmaZulu’s next assignment will be when they face ABC Motsepe League side Mighty Eagles in the Round of 32 of the Nedbank Cup at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

Usuthu will be looking to improve after a disappointing 5-0 loss to Stellenbosch in the Betway Premiership.

“It’s how you come back after a setback. This is a huge setback for us, but it is how we’re going to come back from here,” said co-coach Arthur Zwane.

But even with the loss, Zwane has faith that the team can do better in their next game which is an opportunity to win silverware.

“Having said that, I think mentally we were a little bit weak, we need to be strong and be better and not allow this to happen again,” he added.

Last season, the team made it to the quarter-final stage but succumbed to defeat at the hands of eventual champions Orlando Pirates.
