AmaZulu’s next fixture in the DStv Premiership will be against Moroka Swallows on Tuesday evening at the King Zwelithini Stadium. The team is looking to get back to good form following a defeat against league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Kick-off is at 19:30 CAT.

Head coach Pablo Franco Martin insists that Usuthu is motivated to take on the fixture, especially knowing that they will be playing at home. Keeping in mind that Moroka Swallows have grabbed a positive result against Kaizer Chiefs, Franco Martin states that they will not be underestimating their opponents.

“I think we are going to be more than ready and hopefully we will have a great night, giving some joy to our fans so they can keep feeling proud of the AmaZulu family,” he said.

“I’m sure that with them [the fans], we are going to get the objective, which are the three points.”

AmaZulu forward Augustine Mulenga also gave some insight into how things are going in the training camp lately.

“The whole week, since the Sundowns game, everyone has been pushing and training, looking to deliver on Tuesday against Moroka Swallows,” said Mulenga.

“The coach has always been pushing us and the extra motivation that we’re going to need more is from our supporters. They always give us that morale. We will work hard and we’ll get maximum points.”

Celimpilo Ngema is also locked into the fixture, speaking to AmaZulu media he reiterated that this upcoming fixture is a good chance for the team to recover following two losses in the league.

“We are just asking for the fans to come and support us,” concluded Ngema.
