AmaZulu FC stars Veli Mothwa and Riaan Hanamub are away with their respective nations during the current September international break.
Mothwa is in the Bafana Bafana squad that will face Namibia and DR Congo in friendly matches scheduled to be played at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
The experienced shot-stopper has been in great form this season – keeping four clean sheets from five matches in the DStv Premiership.
South Africa will face off with their neighbours Namibia on September 9, before locking horns with Congo on September 12.
The Namibia squad that will take on Bafana includes Hanamub who has also been outstanding for AmaZulu in the current campaign.
The quality left-back was named Man of the Match after the team’s first win of the season which was a 1-0 win over TS Galaxy on August 30.
Hanamub and Mothwa will resume training with their AmaZulu teammates next week ahead of the KZN giants’ league clash against Cape Town City on September 17.
