AmaZulu FC goalkeeper Jean-Noel Amonome was in action in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier over the weekend.
The Gabon international produced an eye-catching performance as the Panthers secured a 1-0 win over DR Congo in a Group I match on Saturday.
Amonome frustrated the Congolese attackers with goalkeeping heroics in a match which was played at the Stade des Martyrs de la PentecĂ´te in Kinshasa.
Therefore, the Panthers started their Group I campaign with a victory and they will now take on Mauritania at the Stade de Franceville in Franceville on Wednesday.
