AmaZulu FC will compete in the upcoming Durban leg of the Engen Knockout Challenge which is one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the country.
The competition is scheduled to be played between 15 and 17 July, and it will feature three PSL clubs namely, AmaZulu, Lamontville Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United.
Trouble Tigers, who are the defending champions, will also participate in the tournament, while the ladies’ competition will run simultaneously.
This year’s Engen Knockout Challenge will welcome spectators back to the stands to support their teams and entry will be free at Kings Park Stadium.
The tournament takes place with full acceleration in three provinces: Gauteng, Western Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal.
The winners of the Durban leg of the Engen Knockout Challenge will face other provincial winners in October this year for the national title.
The last time AmaZulu were crowned champions of the Durban leg of the Engen Knockout Challenge was in 2019.
