AmaZulu FC will be keen to return to winning ways in the DStv Premiership when they face Sekhukhune United at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 3:00 pm CAT.
AmaZulu fought back to hold Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-1 draw at home on 12 May and they are undefeated in their last two matches having registered two successive draws.
Usuthu remain 12th in the DStv Premiership standings – six points above the relegation playoff spot (15th) and two points behind eighth-placed Chiefs with two matches left.
“We are going to go to Sekhukhune knowing that they are also playing for a good position in the log, it’s going to be a tough game. We already experienced that scenario with them in the Nedbank Cup,” AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco Martin said.
“And we were capable of beating them, and then [Golden] Arrows is the last game we are going to play. It’s a derby, we are also fighting to be the best ones this season in KwaZulu-Natal.”
Meanwhile, Sekhukhune extended their winless run to four matches in the league when they drew 0-0 with Polokwane City away on 11 May and it was their third consecutive draw.
Sekhukhune remain fourth in the DStv Premiership standings – two points above sixth-placed SuperSport United and fifth-placed TS Galaxy with two games left.
AmaZulu will be without the suspended Riaan Hanamub, but Sekhukhune have no suspension concerns.
