AmaZulu were not successful in their most recent Betway Premiership match which saw the KZN side lose 1-0 to TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Usuthu were hopeful to grab their third league victory in a row, but it was not to be as a late goal scored by Puso Dithejane shortly after he came on as a substitute in the 75th minute significantly damaged their chances.

Etiosa Ighodaro had opportunities going forward, but the team did not manage to find the back of the net on time, which gave the Rockets enough time to grab the lead towards the end.

The result is a disappointing one, following the back-to-back victories against Chippa United and Richards Bay as the team continues the journey to finding form in the league again.

Usuthu will get an opportunity to remedy matters in the league when they take on Royal AM in another KZN derby on Friday 13 December at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
