AmaZulu FC will travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium where they are scheduled to take on Baroka FC in the DStv Premiership match on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 17h00 CAT.

Usuthu fought back to hold Guinean giants Horoya AC to a 1-1 in their last CAF Champions League game of the season which was played in Conakry on April 1.

However, the KwaZulu-Natal giants were beaten 2-0 at SuperSport United on March 5 and it remains Usuthu’s last game in the DStv Premiership.

AmaZulu have claimed 11 points from as many away matches this season and their two wins on the road in 2021/22 have come against TS Galaxy and Marumo Gallants.

Meanwhile, Baroka were beaten 5-1 away to Cape Town City on April 3 and it was their fourth loss in their last five league outings.

Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele have claimed 15 points from 11 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 1-0 win over TS Galaxy in early March.

In head-to-head stats, Baroka and AmaZulu have met in nine league matches since 2017/18.

Usuthu have claimed four wins compared to three for Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele, while two games have been drawn.

Baroka have recorded two wins and two losses from four matches as hosts in the rivalry.

When the teams met earlier this season, at Kings Park Stadium in September 2021, AmaZulu claimed a 1-0 home win thanks to a penalty from Bonginkosi Ntuli.
