AmaZulu FC will go head to head with Kaizer Chiefs in a DStv Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday.
Kick-off is at 7h30 pm CAT.
Usuthu are looking to return to winning ways in the league after losing 2-0 to Royal AM in their KwaZulu-Natal Derby clash last weekend.
The KwaZulu-Natal giants are currently placed 12th on the DStv Premiership standings and they are only two points behind fifth-placed Royal AM.
Romain Folz, the AmaZulu coach, has indicated that they are targeting nothing but a win which against Chiefs would elevate Usuthu into the top eight on the standings.
“We need to win. We have the game in front of us, they’re going to try to win as much as we want to win,” Folz said.
“So, it’s going to be a matter of who’s the best team on that day, we’re going to try to be that team. It’s not going to be an easy game.
“But we’ll make sure it’s not an easy game for them.”
Meanwhile, Chiefs saw their three-match unbeaten run in the DStv Premiership come to an end when they lost 1-0 to Sekhukhune United last weekend.
However, the Soweto giants are still placed fourth on the league standings – three points behind second-placed SuperSport United.
This will be the fourth meeting between AmaZulu and Chiefs this season having drawn three times including the two-legged MTN8 semi-final tie.
