Usuthu eye third successive at Swallows

AmaZulu players warming up
AmaZulu FC will travel to the Dobsonville Stadium where they are scheduled to face Swallows FC in a DStv Premiership match on Friday.
Kick-off is at 7:30 pm CAT.
Usuthu made it two victories in a row in the league when they came from behind to claim a 2-1 win over Cape Town City at home on August 13.

The KwaZulu-Natal giantsΒ find themselves placed third on the league standings with seven points from three matches and they will climb to the top of the table if they secure a winΒ over Swallows.

Brandon Truter, the AmaZulu head coach, will be facing his former club having spent two years with Swallows and he will be keen to ensure that Usuthu maintainsΒ their record this term.
Meanwhile, Swallows are undefeated in their last two matches in the league having drawn 0-0 with stubborn Maritzburg United side away on August 12.
The Soweto giants are currently placed eighth on the DStv Premiership standings with four points from three matches including a 1-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in their first game of the season.
Swallows, who are under the guidance of coach Dylan Kerr, will be targeting their second win of the campaign when they face AmaZulu.
Last season, AmaZulu collected four points from Swallows as the first-round clash ended in a 0-0 draw in Durban, before Usuthu claimed a 1-0 win in Soweto.
