AmaZulu FC will face off with Cape Town City in Sunday’s DStv Premiership encounter at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Kick-off is at 5:30 pm CAT.
Usuthu secured their first league victory of the season when they defeated TS Galaxy 1-0 at home on August 30 courtesy of Augustine Chidi Kwem’s goal.
The KwaZulu-Natal giants are placed 14th on the league standings having accumulated six points from their first five matches in the current campaign.
AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco Martin is pleased to see Sere Junior Dion resume full training ahead of the match against City.
“He’s training fully with the team now, we’re really happy. One of the players we were missing from the beginning of the season,” Franco Martin said.
“He couldn’t play any official game even in part of the pre-season, he was already injured. He was the [club’s] top-goal scorer last season and especially if you see the number of games he played.
“We hope he can be with the team in the official games from the next one and help us to score those goals as well.”
Meanwhile, City recorded their third defeat in a row in the DStv Premiership when they lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates away on August 29.
Therefore, the Citizens are placed 13th on the league standings having accumulated six points from their first five matches in the current season.
AmaZulu and City have no suspension concerns coming into this game.
