AmaZulu FC will be away to their provincial rivals Richards Bay at the King Zwelithini Stadium in a DStv Premiership match on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 3:30 pm CAT.

Usuthu are unbeaten in their last two matches in the league having fought back to hold Marumo Gallants to a 1-1 draw last weekend thanks to Sere Junior Dion’s goal.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants find themselves placed eighth on the league standings – three points behind fourth-placed Orlando Pirates as the battle to finish in the top three spots continues.

A victory over Richards Bay would see the Durban side cement their spot in the top eight and also move closer to the top three teams.

Meanwhile, Richards Bay are also undefeated in their last two matches in the league having drawn 1-1 with SuperSport United away last weekend.

The draw saw the KwaZulu-Natal side consolidate their spot on second place on the DStv Premiership standings as they continue to enjoy a great debut season in the elite league.

The reigning National First Division (NFD) champions are two points above third-placed SuperSport United and 19 points behind leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns.

AmaZulu will be without George Maluleka who will be serving a one-match suspension, while Richards Bay have no suspension concerns.
