Truter issues Usuthu injury update

Bonginkosi Ntuli of AmaZulu

AmaZulu FC coach Brandon Truter has provided an injury update ahead of the team’s clash with Swallows FC in a PSL encounter on May 3.

The two teams will clash at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto with Usuthu looking to clinch a win which would boost the team’s hopes of finishing in the top four in the DStv Premiership this term.

Augustine Mulenga and Bonginkosi Ntuli have suffered season-ending injuries which has come as a big blow for the KwaZulu-Natal giants’ attacking department.

Truter has now divulged that experienced attackers Thabo Qalinge and Lehlohonolo Majoro have also sustained season-ending injuries.

“Qalinge is also out for the season as well. Majoro’s season has now also ended,” Truter said.

“These are the players who start [games], yet we are still creating chances, we look like a team which can win [games].

“So, with what is at my disposal and the quality that is here, we will keep on knocking on the door, we will keep on working to win every game.”

AmaZulu have four matches left in the DStv Premiership in the current campaign and they are undefeated in their last three games in the competition having drawn 0-0 with Royal AM on Sunday.
