Three Usuthu stars on national team duty

Three AmaZulu FC players will be on national team duty during the current international FIFA break.

Goalkeeper Veli Mothwa is part of the South Africa squad that is scheduled to face Mozambique and Angola in friendly matches.

Bafana Bafana will go head to head with Mozambique on Thursday at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, before facing Angola on Sunday at the same venue.

The experienced goalkeeper’s AmaZulu teammate, Larry Bwalya has been named in the Zambia squad which is set to take on Israel in a friendly match.

Chipolopolo will square off with Israel at the HaMoshava Stadium in the Israeli city of Petah Tikva on Thursday.

While AmaZulu keeper Jean-Noel Amonome has been included in the Gabon squad which will battle it out with Sierra Leone and Niger.

Both friendly matches are set to take place in Antalya, Turkey with the Panthers taking on Sierra Leone and Niger respectively on Thursday and Sunday.
