The strongly-built centre forward began his professional career in his native Ivory Coast where he played for Williamsville Athlétic Club and ASEC Mimosas. In July 2020, Sere moved to Botswana where he joined Jwaneng Galaxy before being snapped up by Marumo Gallants a year later. AmaZulu signed him from Gallants in January 2023.
