The gifted player was nurtured in the AmaZulu academy and he was named Defender of the Tournament at the 2023 Engen Knockout Challenge in Durban. Ncama graduated to the reserve team, which saw him turn out for Usuthu in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC). He was promoted to the club’s first team ahead of the 2025/26 season.
