It’s been a minute since Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori has joined AmaZulu, and he’s opened up about how he’s been managing the transition.

“Everything is going on well. I’m very excited with how I’ve been gelling with the club, especially my teammates,” shared Ofori.

“So far so good, training has been good and the way the players have been coming in, management as well. I feel at home.”

“The most important thing is for us to move as a team and make AmaZulu, the oldest team in the country proud,” he added.

Ofori had only good things to say about joining the club, and says that the welcome he’s received is amazing.

He also spoke about being coached by Vusimuzi Vilakazi and Arthur Zwane, who have vast experience in the field.

“Although we have new coaches as I joined the club not too long ago, it feels like they have been here for years so we move in one direction and I think we are in one circle.”
