Premier Soccer League have announced that the DStv Premiership fixture between AmaZulu FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows will be played on Tuesday.
This match was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban with the biggest city in KwaZulu-Natal Province having endured heavy rains in the last few days.
The score was locked at 1-1 when match referee Luxolo Badi stopped play in the 75th minute and the game was then postponed. Therefore, AmaZulu remained sixth on the league standings with one match left in the current campaign.
A victory over Arrows will see Usuthu remain sixth on the log with 44 points from 30 matches as they are currently five points behind fifth-placed Royal AM. AmaZulu are also one point ahead of seventh-placed Orlando Pirates who have two games in hand.
The KZN Derby encounter between AmaZulu and Arrows will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium and kick-off is at 15h00. The match tickets are available for R30 at TicketPro outlets.
The PSL also announced that a DStv Premiership fixture between Usuthu’s KZN rivals, Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns will also be Monday. The match was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban.
