AmaZulu FC goalkeeper Veli Mothwa has been named among SofaScore’s CAF Champions League group stage highest rated XI.

Mothwa kept two clean sheets from five matches as Usuthu finished third in Group B in what was the club’s debut appearance in the group stage of Africa’s most prestigious club tournament.

Cape Town City shot-stopper Hugo Marques is the only keeper who has kept more clean sheets than Mothwa in the local top flight having registered 11 thus far.
Mothwa was nominated for the 2020/21 DStv Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season accolade after he kept 11 clean sheets in 26 matches.
