AmaZulu FC’s dynamic left winger, Tshepang Moremi, has been crowned the Mitsubishi Ambitious Player of the Quarter for Q3, following a string of standout performances that have lit up the Betway Premiership.
Currently in fine form, the 24-year-old from Sharpeville has notched three goals in 25 appearances this season, becoming a key figure in Usuthu’s attacking play. His impact on the pitch didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who voted in large numbers to recognise his contribution.
“I want to thank everyone who voted for me to be the Mitsubishi Ambitious Player of the Quarter,” said a grateful Moremi. “I truly appreciate the support. God bless you all.”
Moremi’s work ethic and consistency have earned praise from the coaching staff, and he’s vowed to keep repaying the faith shown in him. The race for the award was closely contested, with new arrival Nkosikhona Radebe—equally adept at right-back and on the wing—proving strong competition in the fan poll.
Alongside the honour, Moremi received a R20,000 cash prize from Mitsubishi SA. Also celebrating was loyal supporter Thulebona Mahlase, who clinched the fan category of the competition after a lively shootout challenge during Friday night’s Betway Premiership match against Richards Bay FC in Umlazi.
Mahlase walked away with a special hamper courtesy of the club and its vehicle sponsor.
