Cape Town–born midfielder, Liam Bern (22), has officially joined the Arthur Zwane–coached AmaZulu FC after being declared a free agent on transfer deadline day.
Expressing his excitement, the versatile left-footer said:
“I spoke to a lot of players before I came here, and they always told me how much they wanted to join AmaZulu because of the family culture, how well the players are looked after, and the togetherness within the club.
The supporters have also been incredible — their energy carries through the entire game, and they really seem like amazing people.
On a personal level, I’d love to score at least one goal this season and, more importantly, win a trophy with the team,” said Bern.
