AmaZulu FC’s attacking midfield maestro, Rowan Human, has expressed his gratitude to his teammates after being named the latest Mitsubishi Ambitious Player of the Quarter.
The accolade comes as Usuthu maintains their strong form, currently holding sixth place in the Betway Premiership standings.
Delighted by the recognition, Human shared, “I am truly grateful, happy, and excited to have been voted the Ambitious Player of the Quarter by the club, the fans, and my teammates. This award is a reflection of my contributions to the team, but more importantly, it highlights our collective performance. Even though it’s an individual honour, I see it as a testament to how well we are working together. I appreciate everyone who voted for me, and hopefully, we can keep up the good work.”
Human claimed the award after a closely contested vote, edging out teammates Riaan Hanamub and Ben Motshwari.
So far this season, he has recorded three goals and five assists. His prize includes a R20,000 cash reward and a hamper from the club’s vehicle sponsor, Mitsubishi SA.
