AmaZulu FC kicked off the year with its first AmaZulu Business College seminar, a program dedicated to holistic player empowerment. The initiative aims to guide players in making positive life choices and developing sound financial planning strategies beyond their football careers.
The seminar featured a star-studded lineup, with well-known Durban actress Thuthuka Mthembu as the host. Notable speakers included mental wellness advocate Paul Nzimande, life coach and motivational speaker Thomas Hadebe, and former Bafana Bafana midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi, each sharing valuable insights with the players.
Representatives from Elangeni TVET College, Shavika Reddy and Mr. M Ntuli, provided detailed information on skill-based programs available to players, helping them balance education with their demanding training schedules.
Additionally, Dr Keseri Padayachy, Council Member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa educated the squad on injury prevention and maintaining peak physical condition amid the rigors of professional football.
With topics such as gender-based violence (GBV) and mental wellness taking centre stage, the seminar reinforced AmaZulu FC’s commitment to the personal and professional growth of its players.
