Folz reveals approach ahead of Pirates clash

New AmaZulu FC head coach Romain Folz is looking forward to the club’s next three matches starting with a clash against Orlando Pirates.

The 32-year-old tactician recently replaced Brandon Truter at Usuthu and the team will be away to the Buccaneers in a DStv Premiership match at the Orlando Stadium on Friday.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants will then play host to Maritzburg United in a league game on October 19 and Kaizer Chiefs in an MTN8 semi-final second-leg encounter on October 23.

Folz, who has coached Botswana giants Township Rollers and Ashanti Gold in Ghana, explained that he looks at every game the same way.

“It is always trying to fix what was not going right and the importance of the next three games and the opponents, I look at every game the same way,” Folz said.

“Of course, we are aware of what they can do, how they play and what we can expect from them.

“But we won’t change the way we approach the game. Whether we play Pirates, Maritzburg, or Chiefs, we will approach the game the same.”

The match between Pirates and AmaZulu will kick-off at 19h30.
