AmaZulu FC coach Ayanda Dlamini has apologized and made a promise to Usuthu faithful.
Usuthu wrapped up their 2022-23 campaign with a disappointing 4-0 loss to Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership match on May 20.
It was a second successive defeat for the KwaZulu-Natal giants and Dlamini promised to make AmaZulu fans happy next season.
“I would like to greet Usuthu fans, I would like to apologize for the way we played against Orlando Pirates,” Dlamini said.
“We promise that we will come back an improved team next season having fixed our mistakes and make you guys happy.
“I apologize for the disappointment we have caused.”
AmaZulu finished 12th in the DStv Premiership standings – seven points behind eighth-placed Swallows FC.
The 2023-24 season is expected to start in August this year.
