AmaZulu x Primo 3rd Kit Designer Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• The competition is open to all residents of South Africa aged 16 and above.
• Employees of Primo, AmaZulu FC, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
• Entry is free.

1. Entry Process

• Entrants must complete the official registration form online.
• Upon registration, entrants will receive a confirmation email containing a PDF pack with official Primo CAD templates (front and back views) and full competition guidelines.
• All designs must be submitted to info@primosport.net by the stated deadline.

1. Design Guidelines

• Entrants must use the supplied CAD & PDF templates provided.
• The collar shape and structure must remain unchanged—no custom collars are allowed.
• Entrants may use colours, patterns, and prints as they wish, provided they align with the AmaZulu identity.

1. Submission Deadline

• All designs must be submitted no later than 19 May 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.

1. Shortlisting and Voting

• A panel made up of representatives from Primo and AmaZulu FC will shortlist finalists.
• Fan voting will take place from 19 May to 31 May 2025.
• Primo and AmaZulu FC reserve the right to adjust voting timelines or processes if necessary.

1. Winner Selection

• The winning design will be selected based on fan votes and internal review.
• Primo and AmaZulu FC reserve the right to override public votes if a design is deemed technically unfeasible or misaligned with brand values.
• The winner will be announced on 6 June 2025
• The winner will be contacted directly via email and announced on Primo and AmaZulu FC platforms.

1. Prize

• The winner will receive a cash prize (R10’000), A 3rd Kit Jersey, and their design will be adapted and produced as AmaZulu FC’s official 3rd kit for the 2025/26 season.
• Additional opportunities such as internships or mentorship may be offered at the discretion of Primo.

1. Intellectual Property and Design Use

• By submitting a design, entrants agree to transfer full intellectual property rights of the submitted work to Primo and AmaZulu FC.
• Primo and AmaZulu FC reserve the right to modify, amend, or enhance the winning design to meet technical, branding, or manufacturing requirements.
• The final produced design may differ from the submitted design.
• By participating in this competition, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal data by Primo and AmaZulu FC for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner. All personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

1. Right to Modify

• Primo and AmaZulu FC reserve the right to:
  • Change, suspend or cancel the competition or any of its components at any time without notice.
  • Alter the rules, voting mechanisms, deadlines, and prize details if deemed necessary.
  • Disqualify any entry that violates the terms or is found to be inappropriate.

1. Liability and Indemnity

• Primo and AmaZulu FC shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant arising out of or in any way connected with the competition or the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
• Entrants indemnify Primo and AmaZulu FC against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from any breach of these terms and conditions or the infringement of any third-party rights through their design submission.

1. General

• Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
• The decision of Primo and AmaZulu FC is final and binding in all respects.
