New AmaZulu FC playmaker Ethan Brooks is determined to help the club achieve its goals and objectives in the 2022-23 season.
The Bafana Bafana international was recently snapped up by Usuthu from fellow Premier Soccer League (PSL) club TS Galaxy.
Brooks explained that he is pleased to have joined a club with great ambitions and he can’t wait to add value to Usuthu in their mission to win a major trophy in the upcoming campaign.
“I am really happy to be going to AmaZulu, a club full of heritage, a very competitive team, that is also something that excites me to be part of the team for the 2022/23 season,” Brooks said.
“I know some guys in the team like Veli Mothwa, whom I have been within the national team and I can’t wait to share the change-room with these players.”
Having helped Bafana clinch the 2021 COSAFA Cup in Gqeberha, the 21-year-old is hoping to taste success with the KwaZulu-Natal giants.
“My expectation for this season is to help the club to achieve its goals and objectives for the season,”
“One of those objectives is to collect a trophy, so I am really glad to be part of the team and I am glad to help with that expectation.”
Brooks made 37 appearances in the DStv Premiership for Galaxy before joining AmaZulu.
