AmaZulu confirmed the signing of Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori recently and the player had to make significant strides to make it happen.
The former Orlando Pirates keeper is an important addition to the Usuthu backline, as he adds a load of experience on both club and international level.
Ofori shared snaps with his fans on his social media pages about his journey to finding a new club through posting videos of the rigorous training he underwent as a free agent.
The 30-year-old won the MTN8 trophy three times with the Buccaneers, which are accolades found valuable by the Usuthu faithful.
“Amazulu Football Club have secured the services of free agent goalkeeper Richard Ofori, 30. The Ghanaian international joined the club on a permanent deal,” reads the club statement from AmaZulu.
“Ofori, who will be joining the KwaZulu Natal team for the upcoming Betway Premiership season, is eager to make an impact.”
