AmaZulu will be going up against Cape Town Spurs in the DStv Premiership on Saturday at the Athlone Stadium. Usuthu is seeking three points in the fixture against the struggling side after ending the year on a high after comfortably beating KZN rivals Royal AM.
Kick off is at 17:30 CAT.
AmaZulu is currently occupying eighth place on the league table with 22 points and a win could take the team up to fifth place. Cape Town Spurs are still at the bottom of the standings with a total of four points.
Defender Taariq Fielies believes that the fixture against the Urban Warriors is going to be a tough one and notes that the position that they find themselves in could produce a good performance from them to try and save their season.
“It’s going to be an interesting game. They’ve made a few signings so we are prepared with the postponement of the previous games,” he said.
Speaking about the players that were brought in to join Usuthu in second half of the season, Fielies reflected that they have been gelling well with the team.
“Everyone is on board and everyone is on the same page. So we are just looking forward to kick start our season again,” added Fielies.
