AmaZulu FC will be away to Sekhukhune United in a DStv Premiership match at the 2010 FIFA World Cup venue, Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 5:30 pm CAT.

Usuthu are looking to resume their league campaign with a victory having secured a 1-0 win over Stellenbosch FC at home in their last competitive match which was played on October 30.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants are placed seventh on the league standings – two points behind fifth-placed Orlando Pirates who are scheduled to face Mamelodi Sundowns on December 30.

A victory over Sekhukhune will see coach Romain Folz’s side climb up to the fifth spot on the standings if the other results go AmaZulu’s way.

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune drew 1-1 with TS Galaxy away on October 30 and it was their last competitive game before the recent break which was enforced by the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

Babina Noko find themselves placed 15th-placed on the league standings – three points behind 10th-placed Stellenbosch FC who will take on Chippa United on December 30.

The Limpopo side has a new coach in former AmaZulu mentor Brandon Truter having replaced Kaitano Tembo last month.

Last season, Sekhukhune claimed a 2-0 win over AmaZulu in the first round league clash in Johannesburg, before they drew 0-0 in Durban in the second round match.
