With the 2024/25 football season set to kick-off, AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu has given insight into what goals the club has going forward.
Zungu admitted that the team didn’t play to the best of their capabilities last season, after the team accumulated 36 points from 30 league matches.
The president has shown determination for the team to win silverware and play in continental competitions. Zungu also believes that the team has what it takes to win the Betway Premiership.
“I can promise our fans that this upcoming 2024/25 season, we are determined to bring the trophy home,” said Zungu.
“This is a season that we want to finish in the top four. It’s a season that we want to qualify for the CAF competitions, whether it’s CAF Champions League or CAF Confederation Cup.”
“This means we have to be in the top three or number two. If it’s possible that we can win the league, we’ll take that opportunity.”
“I feel we have players and coaches that are capable of winning us the 2024/25 league title.”
