AmaZulu’s next assignment in the Betway Premiership is their clash against Chippa United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Kick-off is at 19h30 CAT.

As it stands, the team is at the bottom of the league standings as they haven’t registered a point since the beginning of the season. Last time out, the team fell short against Orlando Pirates away.

It will be crucial for Usuthu to pick up points against Chippa, and the co-coaches are committed to the cause to get the team back to its best.

Coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi says that the result against the Buccaneers was not what they wanted, but they anticipated what took place in the game.

“I strongly feel that the two goals we conceded were just a gift from us,” he said.

“We lost the ball in our half and they countered against us. We tried to build from the back and we gave the ball away. There’s nothing wrong with building from the back but we need to make sure we’re clinical in coming out and that was a challenge for us.”

“I believe we came back very strongly and we tried to dominate the game and create opportunities. We didn’t create much, but it looked better in the second half,” he concluded.
