AmaZulu FC Welcomes Sifiso Ngobeni in January Transfer Move

Sifiso Ngobeni is presented his jersery by club president Sandile Zungu.
In an exciting move that marks Usuthu’s first activity in the January FIFA Transfer window, the club proudly announces the signing of Mamelodi Sundowns defender Sifiso Ngobeni on a six-month loan deal.
The 26-year-old, hailing from Mamelodi, is set to enhance a competitive set up at left back position with his exciting energy and dedication to the KZN-based club alongside AFCON bound Riaan Hanamub in Coach Pablo Franco’s team.
Sifiso Ngobeni, expressing his enthusiasm about the move, stated:
“I am very happy to join AmaZulu, to also work hard, to please the fans and the president of the club. I am happy that I’ll be meeting up with the right people so that we can help the team to rise.”
“The team has a lot of history, and we need to bring joy to the fans so that they can be happy about the club this season by finishing up in the top 4.”
Ngobeni made his professional debut with the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic in 2019, transitioning straight from the reserves. His exceptional skills quickly caught the eye of various sides in the Premiership, with Mamelodi Sundowns successfully luring him to Chloorkop in 2021.
Notably, he also had a productive loan spell with Supersport United. As AmaZulu FC aims to strengthen its squad for the unpredictable upcoming DSTV Premiership second round, Ngobeni’s addition is a strategic move.
His experience and determination are expected to complement the team’s objectives for the season.
