AmaZulu Football Club, and 24-year-old defender Sibusiso Mabiliso have amicably agreed to part ways, effective immediately.
The decision comes after careful discussions between the player and the club’s management to afford the player game time elsewhere for the remainder of the season the 2023/24 season.
The defender took the opportunity to extend his appreciation to various stakeholders who played a significant role in his journey with AmaZulu FC.
“I would like to thank AmaZulu FC President, the Management, my teammates, the coaching staff, and the supporters for welcoming me back with open arms at Usuthu. I am very grateful for everything and the experience. I wish the team all the best for the remainder of the season,” said Mabiliso.
Mabiliso made 91 appearances for Usuthu, making four assists and scoring one goal. He joined the club in 2018 and left in 2021 to join Kaizer Chiefs.
He rejoined AmaZulu a season later in the 2022/2023 season.
