AmaZulu will be aiming to get back on track in the DStv Premiership when they take on TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday evening. Kick-off is at 17:30 CAT.
Usuthu are currently in 11th position in the standings and have picked up 24 points so far this season. Following two draws in the league against Moroka Swallows and SuperSport United respectively recently, the aim is clear for the team to get maximum points in this fixture.
The opponents, TS Galaxy are 9th on the log with 25 points, the team has two games in hand. Before the match, AmaZulu vice-captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele urged the fans to get behind the team as they undergo a transitional process under the guidance of head coach Pablo Franco Martin.
“I think one thing that is really derailing us is the consistency at AmaZulu and look it’s not easy, Pablo just came in, it’s his first season and for me, he’s done so much to get us out of the position that we were psychologically,” Mphahlele said as quoted by SABC Sport.
With 10 more games to go in the league, Mphahlele thinks that patience is needed and believes that next season will yield more positive results for the KZN outfit.
“Eventually the results will come, you’re very right, we haven’t been consistent, we’ve struggled to win games but it’s something that we’re positive will change in the future.”
